Showing 101

The webmasters appreciate your patience while we compile some information for those new to showing and those seeking additional information about showing.

We are hoping to answer some of those "This-is-my-first-time-showing, so how do I..." questions.

This page will also include a definition for the various divisions offered by ECHSA along with jump heights and pre-requisite information.  We will do our best to make the answers as easy to understand as possible, however, please refer to the VHSA and USET websites for additional clarification.

Entry Forms:

Typically, your trainer will advise you which classes and divisions to sign up for.  Trainers who have many showing students may use our entry form to enter each student by simply pressing the reset button after clicking on the "Submit" button and enter the next student.  Or just clear out the necessary fields and click on the "Submit" button again.  If you are not sure how to fill it out the entry form, please email us or ask our show secretary on the day of the show, she will be glad to assist you.  

Signatures:

Signatures on entry forms are required in order to indicate that you understand the inherent risk involved in riding and will not hold the show management or facility owners responsible for any injuries.  It also indicates that the information you have provided on the form is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Your address including email address helps us to keep you informed of upcoming shows.  If you would prefer to not receive it, just let us know by leaving it blank.
